I kind of love taking photos for little girl's baptisms. There is something so sweet and pure about a girl in a white dress, sun setting and beautiful fall leaves. I felt the magic as I held my camera up to my eye and saw Mary with the sun dancing off her hair. I love looking through my lens because somehow through my lens I get a glimpse of everything special and unique about the subject I am shooting. The little crinkle in their forehead when they smile. The glint in their eye when they think you're not looking. The bruises on little knees. Toothless smiles. A little mole on their cheek. I love it all. It's what makes us human and its so inspiring to capture.

Mary was beautiful. I held her on my back as I took her to each place I wanted to photograph her in. She smelt like little girl and the outdoors. Her curly hair tickled my cheek as it fell forward and my heart was bursting. It was so neat to get to see her the way her mama sees her. The way her Heavenly Father sees her. To really stop and look and see... that is the magic of photography and it is incredible.

Little Sister, Alivia needed a turn too. That red hair could not be ignored in the setting sun.

The Little Gym #somersaultsoiree

The Little Gym in Farmington just opened their doors and we couldn't be more thrilled. This is the neatest spot for kids to learn, play, and develop coordination and skills. I'm so happy they are FINALLY in Farmington!

Each week The Little Gym provides progressively structured classes and a positive learning environment that create opportunities for our children to try new things and build self-confidence. Genevieve and Finn can't get enough and would go everyday if they could. The Little Gym isn't just another gymnastics gym it is something much more unique and special. In all of their programs, physical activity is a conduit for Three-Dimensional Learning.

Three-Dimensional Learning:

Get Moving! Physical activities to burn that boundless energy, plus build flexibility and strength, develop balance and coordination, and encourage agility, rhythm and overall fitness to launch a lifetime of healthy habits.

Brain Boost! Designed to expand the mind and develop a love of learning, these exercises foster sustained concentration and decision making, prepare for or reinforce school lessons, and nurture problem-solving ability and creative expression.

Citizen Kid! These activities teach life skills like sharing, working in a group, listening and leadership—all skills that translate to a well-adjusted, well-rounded superkid.

As each success builds off the last, I see noticeable improvements in G and Finn's physical abilities and self-confidence.

I'm also excited to support a hard working mom who opened this franchise. Rachel Booker is the owner, manager, advertiser, accountant and teacher! You name it she has done it to create a place for her kids and the community to learn and grow in a positive environment. There is nothing I like to do more than to support another mom in her endeavors.

The Little Gym held a "blogger night" for all the local blogging moms and their families. As The Little Gym's sponsored photographer I was there to catch all the fun!
